A musician in the womb, classically trained violinist and audiophile, Smokes has been curating her record collection pretty much her whole life. She cut her teeth in Austin, TX, the live music capital of the world, before moving out West to get her disco, house & techno groove on with a residency at San Francisco’s infamous underground lair, House of Love. A vinyl purist through & through, Smokes brings the heavy wax for some jazzy, soulful, psychedelic, cinematic - smokey - selections.
