mousie has been known to enjoy tasty nibbles of cheese and wave her little mouse paws to the beat. She DJs the way an old, mischievous soul sifts through a treasure trove, with gleefully crinkled whiskers and zero regard for genre boundaries. She weaves indie-dance and post-punk crossovers into house, sprinkling in French and European disco, and somehow makes a Joséphine Baker surprise appearance feel completely right. That's the mousie signature: the sounds that make you look around, and think "wait... is this...?" Every track is chosen for the feeling it carries, not the genre or time period it came from. She’s been seen in the wild at Monarch, Public Works, GrooveWell Decompression, and Camp Never Sleep Again.
Off the decks, mousie is an event producer and key collaborator on the GrooveWell Vacation Festival. She's also the founder of Openly, a peer-led community event series built on the belief that we all get further when we share what we know. True to form, she’s been spotted scurrying through the dancefloor with a friend and a well-curated charcuterie tray- nourishing friends, strangers, and all mousekind.
