Louiv is a Mexico born selector and agitator based in San Francisco, working dance floors through tension, hypnosis, and controlled chaos. His approach is pressure driven but narrative minded, building arcs that pull the room forward without ever losing the groove.
Rooted in early digging and shaped by the West Coast lineage of Wicked and Sunset Soundsystem crews, Louiv founded Texture Summit in 2019 as a philosophy as much as a party. The platform has grown into a key node of the city’s underground, hosting artists like Truly Madly, Francesco Del Garda, Dr. Banana, Quest, and Move D, while extending into intimate, off-grid moments like a campout deep in the redwoods. A resident at Phonobar and Fault Radio, with releases on Ubiyu, Deep In Dis, Honne Music, and In The Bagg, Louiv continues to travel with his record bag, applying pressure until the room gives in.
