KAELI RENAE

Kaeli Renae is a multidisciplinary artist based in San Francisco. As a singer, songwriter and DJ, she blends genres like soul, house, and global influences inspired by her travels, rooted in rhythm, resonance and a deep love of connection.

Her musical foundation began as a little girl listening to her abuelos’ record collection, shaping an ear for groove and storytelling through Soul and Motown. She began performing onstage at an early age in musical theater. Today, she is nine years into her DJ career and has a debut single song on Spotify, Still I Won’t Break, produced by Justin Waves. She is known for sets that are uplifting, versatile, nostalgic and dancey and has shared music from Spain to Mexico to Morocco to Burning Man and on dancefloors across San Francisco including Monarch, Temple, The Foundry, Great Northern, The Modernist, The Portal, Public Works and in yoga classes for Yoga Journal, Janet Stone Yoga, Sunset Soundsystem, Love Story Yoga, Outdoor Yoga SF and The Pad Studios. She first began recording music and playing guitar with her dear friend and mentor Mei-Lwun of Soulstice and later was mentored by Shivarasa, developing her voice as a recording artist. Her debut single, Still I Won’t Break, marks the start of her recorded catalog - grounded, soulful and resilient.

Alongside her work as an artist, Kaeli is also the founder of Abueluna, Grandmother Moon, producing wellness experiences and fundraisers grounded in her belief that art and community care can create a better world for all. She continues to sing, songwrite and DJ while teaching yoga in San Francisco, producing events and recording guided meditations that bridge music, movement, and inner work. She also serves as the head of wellness programming at Groovewell Vacation ~ stop by for some self-care and say hi!
