Bobby G is, first and foremost, a crate digger — and everything else follows from there. A DJ and multi-instrumentalist currently based in Seattle, WA by way of Atlanta, GA and Central Florida, Bobby G brings a restless musical curiosity to everything he touches.
He got his start DJing house parties in 2018, and by 2020–2021 had broken onto the global scene through a celebrated series of mixes recorded and released on YouTube with Humano Studios — a collective of Seattle’s finest vinyl selectors and DJs.
Bobby G’s sound is fluid and ever-evolving, chasing the next dance and celebrating every moment. From the depths of the underground to the top of the charts, from the cinematic and existential to the breezy and carefree — he’ll pull on your heartstrings one moment and transport you somewhere else entirely the next. He doesn’t limit himself to one genre, style, or era. He plays what he feels should be played. As Miles Davis put it: good music is good music, no matter what kind of music it is.
